Birthday Parties
Moving Monkeys is a gymnastics facility that was specifically designed with birthday parties in mind.
The equipment is fresh and new, and with the centre’s focus being exclusively on recreational gymnastics and fundamental movement you will find equipment here that you won’t necessarily find in a traditional gymnastics club.
During our birthday parties you have *EXCLUSIVE* use of the facility.
During the party, our experienced coaches will take your guests through a number of age appropriate obstacle courses, designed to challenge their fitness, strength, agility and balance. They may swing on the rings, climb the rock wall, explore the tunnels, crawl through the foam pit, jump on trampolines, walk the slack-line, and more...
Birthday parties at Moving Monkeys are not about teaching your guests how to do cartwheels and forward rolls. They consist of a variety of fun, age appropriate activities.
Party Details...
Note:- all participants not at school next year require active parent supervision.
School Age (Grade 2 and up)
Guns, Darts, and Safety Goggles are provided.
Parties are a 2 hour block.
10 min guest arrival.
1hr activity time (obstacle course, target practice, games).
15 min free time.
30 min eating time at the end.
Note: All guests participating in Nerf parties must be school age.
School Age (Prep and up)
Parties are a 2 hour block.
10 min guest arrival.
1hr structured activity time (obstacle courses and games).
15 min free time.
30 min eating time at the end.

4yo Kinder (Starting school next year)
Parties are a 1hr 45min block.
Approx 1hr 15min activity time.
30 min eating time.
Exact structure of the party varies depending on the group, but typically in the activity time guests will do a few different obstacle courses and participate in some group games.
Food
Self-Catered
You are free to bring in whatever you want to feed your guests. We provide a fridge, freezer, microwave oven, urn (instant coffee, tea, milk and sugar provided), and an oven for you to use for food preparation. BYO food, plates, cups, cutlery, etc.
We recommend that you check with your guests regarding food allergies, especially if their parents / guardians are not staying. Moving Monkeys accepts no responsibility for allergic reactions to food you supply.
Catered
We do all the cooking / food preperation for you. Party Pies, Sausage Rolls, Chicken Nuggets, Cordial, Fruit platter, Chips / Cheezles.
We provide serviettes, plastic plates, cups and cutlery.
Tea / Coffee / Hot Chocholate is available for purchase at $ 5 / cup - coffee tab is optional on the day.
Fees
Prices include up to 15 children. We can accomodate up to 24.
- Normal parties - $ 405.
- Catering - additional $ 195.
- Nerf parties (Grade 2 and up) - additional $ 45
- Additional birthday child $ 22 each (joint parties)
- Additional children self-catered party $ 10 each
- Additional children catered party $ 15 each
Ages
We run parties for children currently attending primary school, or who are currently in 4yo kinder.
Activies are setup to cater for the age of the birthday child. Younger siblings are welcome, but anyone younger than 4yo Kinder MUST be accompanied by a parent / guardian at all time.
